Hillcrest’s newest restaurant opened yesterday at 3807 Fifth Avenue (between Robinson & University). Daughter and mother, Regina and Cristina Guzman were on hand to present the tasty and fresh, raw food to their first diners. The restaurant offers soups, salads, wraps and entrees. Their desserts are yummy…and of course, fresh and live! The family now owns the only four raw restaurants in San Diego County featuring organic, vegan and 100% live foods. They make their delectable creations by using nuts, seeds, grains, sprouts, fruits and vegetables.
