Uptown Community Plan Update charrettes
Want to help plan what the future Hillcrest will look like? The City of San Diego City Planning & Community Investment department invites you to participate in a series of charrette
meetings associated with the Uptown Community Plan Update.
Since participation and input from the community are an integral part of this plan update process for Hillcrest, these charrette meetings will provide an opportunity for community members and stakeholders to be participants in determining the vision for Hillcrest and Uptown.
Please save these dates for a series of charrette meetings planned for the Uptown community. All meetings are held in Balboa Park. Please attend to learn more and share your vision of our future.
Date: This Saturday, Sepember 11 at the Balboa Park Recital Hall from 8:30am to 3pm
Date: Tuesday, Sepember 21 at the Balboa Park Club from 6pm to 9pm
Date: Saturday, October 23 in the Hall of Champions Banquet Room from 8:30am until 2:30pm
These charrette meetings will involve both community members and planners working together in an open environment to develop urban planning design concepts for a community. Charrette content will be posted prior to each meeting on the city’s website, click on “Your Community Profile” and select “Uptown” on the community profile drop down menu.
