The word on the street is that Book Market (with table after table of cheap books) is moving into the old Wherehouse location at the corner of Vermont and University in the Uptown District beginning tomorrow. Their “corporate plan” is to unload as much reading material in the next three months as possible before moving on to another urban area.
We wish them luck, but encourage our readers to continue supporting the many local booksellers in the neighborhood.
