Village Hillcrest will be the site for a local observance of World AIDS Day, an international day of remembrance for those who have been affected by AIDS. Tree ornaments may be personalized with a message honoring a relative, friend or loved one who has been affected by this devastating disease. Proceeds from the ornament sales will benefit Mama’s Kitchen, and the trees and their commemorative ornaments will be on display throughout the end of the year.
Saturday evening beginning at 6pm The Gay Men’s Chorus will fill the courtyard of Village Hillcrest with song. Stop by 3965 Fifth Avenue, in the heart of the neighborhood, to enjoy this annual ceremony.
