Future of Highway 163 north directly to Scripps Mercy and UCSD to the west?
Perhaps it should have been designed when the other Washington Street ramps were built, but currently ambulances exit at Robinson and must use their sirens at seven stop lights in the Hillcrest business district before reaching Scripps Mercy (11 if going to UCSD Medical Center).
This suggested new ramp could be built on city/state land, and benefits to the community would be great. What do you think?
