Over 50 residents (and developers) met yesterday evening for this month’s Bankers Hill/Park West Community meeting. Items were (1) seating, or not, for a new mini-park located at Maple and Albatross where a big rock marks the sight of Waldo Waterman’s historic 1909 flight in a homemade glider. Unfortunately the city planner missed the meeting, but a majority favored no benches or picnic tables and (2) the condo projects at Fifth & Thorn and St. Paul’s Cathedral provided updates to their developments. Both will have presentations at the November Uptown Planners meeting.
