…this new development featuring two high-rise buildings that they are proposing for Park West — one at Fifth Avenue & Nutmeg Street and another at Olive. The rendition at the right is shown looking toward the southeast. The City’s Planning Department staff is opposing the project based on airport approach safety, height and design issues. The towers would sandwich the original cathedral and exceed the existing height limitation of 150 feet for this location.
The project will appear before the Uptown Planner’s Design Review Subcommittee on Monday, October 15th and the Bankers Hill/Park West Association on Wednesday, October 24th.
