The sandy rooftop of downtown’s W Hotel was the Monday evening venue for presentations of San Diego’s LGBT Pride Stonewall awards. Elaine Graybill (in the Easter bonnet) is surrounded by friends after receiving this year’s Community Service Award. The Coronado resident and long-time Pride volunteer is an event-planner and community fundraiser. Other honorees included Bruce Abrams who has been named the 2007 Grand Marshal; Stonewall Patrol co-founders Bob Lehman & Tom Felkner are this year’s Champions of Pride; and Scouting for All’s Mick Rabin was honored as Friend of the Year. Look for them in Saturday’s Pride parade.
