Lots of stuff was going on around the neighborhood including an Indian Culture Pow Wow at Park Bouleveard and Presidents Way and two health fairs — one north of the War Memorial building (across from Roosevelt Junior High) and another at the GLBT Center. Many Hillcresters enjoyed getting outside, even if it meant yardwork as spring continues to bloom everywhere.
Food, fun and performance art abound this weekend. Toss in a free massage, and you’ll know why this is America’s Finest City. Ollie Ott, the owner of Slender Lady, smiled for HillQuest with buddy Tami who was working the booth for Brothers Warren Wellness Center where Dr. Jay shared his healing knowledge. Back on Robinson Roli even helped his dad with the gardening.
