…Litter committee chair Tim Gahagan will present a report on the recently changed status of street newsracks and the upcoming community-wide clean-up which will take place next Saturday, January 12 from 9-noon as the HTC and the Hillcrest Clean T.E.A.M. join forces to clean the streets of Hillcrest. Volunteers will meet in front of the Egyptian, on Park Boulevard just south of University Avenue. Brooms and supplies will be available for volunteers. Neighbors will be able to discard large items in a dumpster, furnished by Allied Waste, located in the parking lot of Numbers at 3811 Park Boulevard (across the street from the Egyptian). Sorry, no refrigerators, paint, oil or electronics.
Public comment is welcome at the end of the meeting. All renter and owners are encouraged to come.
