Dr. January Riddle, a longtime activist for women’s and LGBT rights who recently returned from serving 28 months as an educational resource specialist in South Africa for the Peace Corps, has joined SD Lesbian, Gay Bisexual and Transgender Pride board of directors.
Prior to that service, she was an associate professor of communication at Bethany College in West Virginia and served on the West Virginia State Board of the ACLU. She also taught at two California universities and is listed on serveral Who’s Who lists across America.
Dr. Riddle is a past president of San Diego County NOW and a past executive vice president of the San Diego Democratic Club. She currently teaches part time at San Diego State University and is a realtor with Century 21 in San Carlos.
