Ron Roberts to address Hillcrest Town Council tomorrow
The next neighborhood meeting will be held Tuesday, January 11th from 6:30-8pm at the Joyce Beers Community Center (in the Uptown District).
This month’s agenda includes public comment, announcements from elected representatives & community organizations followed by a presentation by Benny Cartwright re: an additional John Wear Memorial (7:00-7:05) — San Diego Supervisor Ron Roberts will be addressing the neighbors from 7:05-7:35 and Save Our Heritage Organisation (SOHO) from 7:35-7:45 to share their thoughts for the future of Balboa Park (see below). The meeting will conclude with HTC committee updates and a discussion of March meeting election. All Hillcrest residents (renters & owners) are encouraged to become involved with the Hillcrest Town Council. The February meeting of the HTC (2/8/11) will feature a forum with suggestions to address the city’s fiscal crisis with several panelists including Councilman Carl DeMaio, Professor Alan Gin and former City Attorney Mike Aguirre.
