Our dear friend, former Executive Director of the Hillcrest Business Association and tireless worker for many causes, Warren Simon passed away on Monday morning after several months of struggling with health complications. Everyone who knew and worked with Warren loved him, and he will be sincerely missed, especially in the small business community. He was kind, considerate, dependable, and hardworking, and sincerely cared about small businesses and programs he served. In addition to Business Improvement District and micro district work, he was involved with various other organizations and causes throughout his career.
This coming Monday, November 14th, the San Diego City Council will adjourn in memory of Warren Simon.
In addition to Monday’s adjournment, a Celebration of Life for Warren will be held on Tuesday, November 29th from 5-8pm at the Prado Restaurant in Balboa Park. Please save the date and share with others who were close to Warren.
