Thanks for showing your love to Hillcrest
Volunteers pitched in to collect trash from Hillcrest streets, sidewalks and gutters yesterday. After meeting up on Park Boulevard just south of University Avenue at 9am the group split up into small teams and created a HUGE difference until noon. Thanks to Baja Betty for the cocktails and to HillQuest for the tickets to Mardi Gras & the USS Midway, and to Todd Gloria, Anthony Bernal and the city for the use of a large dumpster. (It was filled to the brim!)
