The Hillcrest Business Association (HBA) held the fifth and final Business Forum 2.0 last Thursday night on the back patio of Babbo Grande restaurant. Students from the planning program at UCSD made a presentation that summarized the first four forums. Topics covered included building heights, landscape and public art, the pedestrian experience and a streetcar running from Hillcrest to downtown and back.
HBA president, Nancy Moors commented that, “Thanks to the people in the community who participated in the forums, to the staff at the HBA and especially the students from UCSD who put together such a comprehensive report that will be presented to our board of directors for approval and advancement to the city for use in our Community Plan Update.”
