Gerald G. Von Ronne Jr.
July 31, 1965–January 12, 2005
Jerry moved to San Diego 20 years ago and settled into the Hillcrest community after traveling the world with his family. He worked for Pacific Bell as an operator and a service representative. The AIDS Project, Mama’s Kitchen and HARP were some of the many organizations where he volunteered throughout the years.
He loved playing tennis, volleyball, working out and biking around Balboa Park. Jerry could usually be found at David’s Coffeeshop enjoying his double tall latte and conversations with friends.
Jerry is survived by parents Gerald & Florence Von Ronne of Nevada,
a sister Annette Samouris of Maryland and his partner, Alan Mercier.
To honor Jerry’s memory there will be a reception at his home:
3611 Nile Street in North Park on Sunday, February 27th from 2-4:00pm
