Fabulous weather made for another perfect day in San Diego as friends and a large extended family gathered today for a neighborhood BBQ, mixer and cornhole tournament. Over 100 guests enjoyed the historic Bankers Hills property just north of the Quince Street pedestrian bridge. The grand old house was completed on March 28, 1921.
In addition to the 89th birthday party, Sunday also marked the end of an extensive remodeling project on the south side of “The Meadows” (named to honor Elinor Meadowswho owned and lived in the house for 48 years.)
