Get ready for the Seniors’ HOMEMADE CRAFT & ART SALE this Saturday & Sunday, November 20-21, 2010 from 10am-3:30pm.
This annual event is sponsored by the Park & Recreation Department, Senior Citizen Services. It is held in Balboa Park at the Casa Del Prado, Room 101 and patio areas. Come support this lovely event where seniors display their Arts & Crafts, just in time for the holidays.
If you’re in the market for some special gifts, there will be a multitude of items displayed on 100 craft tables. Now, if this isn’t enough to get you there, a free drawing will be held every hour starting at noon. Prizes include a variety of craft items; and get this… a voucher for two nights and three days in Las Vegas, or a choice of 20 other cities.
To get there, just turn on Village Place off Park Boulevard, and continue past Spanish Village; the location is between the Natural History Museum and the Lily Pond. For more senior activities click here.
