Tuesday afternoon Councilmember Todd Gloria nominated Nancy Moors, publisher of HillQuest, an Urban Guide to the Uptown Partnership Board of Directors. In a letter to Executive Director Carol Schultz, the Councilman Gloria said, “I am confident that with her background in small business and community activism, as well as her leadership experience, Nancy will prove to be a valuable member of the Uptown Partnership Board of Directors.”
This is part of an effort to expand their board at the request of Gloria and Councilman Kevin Faulconer who will be nominating another board member soon. “I am happy and honored that Councilmember Gloria has nominated me as his appointment. Recently I have been critical of the Partnership, however, I understand that each organization has its unique set of challenges, and I look forward to working as a boardmember with the staff at the Uptown Partnership towards reaching our common goals,” commented Moors.
