Several community members gathered at St. Paul’s Cathedral to give their input for the Hillcrest Corridor Mobility Study workshop today. Groups were divided into three different areas of concern (north, south, central) and an overview of all areas re: traffic issues/solutions for Fourth, Fifth and Sixth avenues along the Balboa Park and through Hillcrest. Uptown residents’ ideas included a tunnel, a pedestrian bridge (corner of Fifth & Washington), dedicated bike lanes, diagonal parking and more.
The project will be presented to the Uptown Planners at their Tuesday, August 7th meeting.
