Hillcrest’s own Priority Pharmacy was among the honorees during the recent Combined Health Agencies’ Tenth Annual Health Hero Awards Reception. They were nominated by the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) for their leadership in the chapter’s education, outreach efforts, support programs and participation in the Annual Hot Pepper Run. The Combined Health Agency’s mission is to improve the community by supporting member agencies through individual and corporate giving. “Priority Pharmacy’s creative vision and commitment of the Foundation are keys to the success of CCFA local chapter events,” said Pamela Meistrell, executive director of the local chapter of CCFA. “Their dedicated involvement with numerous committees continues to help the Foundation raise money and awareness of this disease.”
“We’re honored by this prestigious award,” said Priority Pharmacy’s Monique DeChaine. “We look forward to continuing to help CCFA’s mission and supporting programs that empower San Diegans living with Crohn’s and Colitis.”
