Today’s the day the first payment is due on your property taxes, and Treasurer-Tax Collector Dan McAllister (left) is trying to give taxpayers every opportunity to avoid a 10 percent late fee. Your money is due before midnight….don’t delay!
As is typical at tax time, McAllister has extended business hours for taxpayers and set up an all-purpose tent on the south side of the County Administration Center, 1600 Pacific Highway. Hurry!
