The Advisory Committee meeting for the update of the Uptown Community Plan will gather again tonight (Wednesday, January 26) at the Balboa Park Club from 6-8pm. The city will have a quick recap of the update process followed by a presentation on economic conditions in the community and a presentation from SANDAG on growth forecasts. Yesterday the City Council unanimously supported the first of two 180-day extensions of the Interim Height Ordinance and suggested the IHO will be in effect until the new community plan becomes effective.
