Please attend the Monday, July 15th meeting of the Bankers Hill Residents Group to learn about plans for the San Diego’s 2015 Centennial. Mayor Filner has arranged for Phil Green from Autonomy to come share preliminary plans and a view into the future. Time will be allowed for audience questions. Invite a neighbor to join you tonight’s meeting from 6:30-8pm on the top floor of the Inn at the Park.
A second presentation by Janelle Riella of the Downtown Partnership will discuss plans for a shuttle from Downtown to Bankers Hill, Balboa Park & Hillcrest. Time will be allowed for comments and questions from the audience.
Resident Jim Frost will give an update on neighborhood stop signs and Sixth Avenue crosswalks & safety with samples of a possible flashing light.
Upcoming meetings (September) SANDAG Bike Plan & Gateway project at Sixth Avenue & Elm Street and (October) Caltrans will be our guest discussion the upcoming closure of the Laurel Street Bridge for retrofitting.
