The Hillcrest Business Improvement Association (HBIA) held the first in a series of mixers Tuesday evening at Baja Betty’s, 1421 University Avenue, as owner Chris Shaw welcomed over 50 members to the popular eatery. Mayoral candidate Steve Francis dropped by to visit with businesses including the Hillcrest House Bed & Breakfast, The Wine Lover, Cathedral, Column One, Bamboo Lounge, Winn’s Barber Shop, Sommerset Suites Hotel, Dancing Heart Spa, Freelance Salon, Lucky Bucks and the owners of Fusion Pizza set to open the end of June.
