The Giant Dipper celebrated its 80th anniversary today with its 43,000,000th
rider! The famous roller coaster opened
on July 4, 1925 at a cost of $150,000.
This morning riders were able to
enjoy the coaster for a mere 15¢
(instead of the usual five bucks).
